Last time we ended on how there are things in this world that are trying to seduce you and grab hold of you. These things are only a temporary fix on a bigger problem. The things that try and seduce you are things like money, drugs, and power. For me it was the money and the drugs which brings a false sense of power and a whole lot of so called friends.
How Todays Entertainment Industry Can effect Our Mind-sets

Young adults are exposed to a lot of stuff these days. Stuff designed to mold minds into a certain way of thinking. Most of our influence today is done through movies, television, music, and literature. Look at what we have to look up to as role models now: most of the music out there promotes selling drugs, pimping women, flashing money, how many sex partners they have, and the list goes on and on. Ninety percent of what’s on t.v. is absolute trash.
“It is often said that ‘the reactions of a person result as a byproduct of their environment.’ The origin of environment, beyond the textbook meaning, is the family. ” said H.L. Belton Jr. I couldn’t agree more with that.
There are many different types of influences in this world that push strongly on our children. Which influences do you see affecting your childrens and teens?

There is a change coming to our cities. That which was then will not be now. We can change things. We will change things. But to do it we need your help.
Did you know in 2006- 67 percent of children ages 0–17 lived with two married parents, down from 77 percent. Nearly one quarter (23 percent) of children lived with only their mothers, 5 percent lived with only their fathers, and 5 percent lived with neither of their parents. The proportion of all children living with a single father increased from 2 percent to 5 percent. (more…)
