A long time ago I learned a valuable lesson. A word can have a different definition to many different people. If I posed the question, “Are you committed to your church?” Out of the people who answered yes, some might be at church everyday of the week working and/or cleaning. Others might just might have been there every Sunday for the past 10 years. And yet others say yes because they go there once a month and give offerings at that church.
All of these people say they are committed. Are they lying? Of course not. They all just have a different meaning of the word commitment. And I submit to you it goes the same for the word greatness.
Question: What’s the difference between Michael Jordan and you?
What is greatness? What does it mean? How does one achieve it?Questions we all want answers to. Zadok Rabinwitz put it best when we said, “A man’s dreams are an index to his greatness.”
Whether you’d be willing to admit it or not, I know for a fact that you have a dream. From when you were little there is something that you have always wanted to do. It might be buried. Someone might have told you that it would never happen. They might have told you stop dreaming. But I’m telling you that the moment you stop dreaming is the moment you start to lose belief in those dreams, belief in your greatness.
So what is greatness? Greatness is the utilization of the God-given gifts that are inside of you. It’s when you take that ability that’s on the inside of you and develop it and put it to action. That is greatness.
And you have greatness on the inside of you. You can achieve it. Are you ready to? Do you want to? E-mail me, let me know that you are ready to step up to the next level because I want to help you get there.
Oh, and the answer to what’s the difference between Michael Jordan and you? He never stopped dreaming…
